Watch our Jack and the beanstalk Fairy Tale now.

Nursery Rhyme of the Week

Jack and Jill ***

http://www.famousquotes.me.uk/nursery_rhymes/jack_and_jill.htm Enjoy singing along to the words and lyrics of the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme. This old nursery rhyme is a traditional childrens song accompanied by simply beautiful music that will appeal to kids and adults of all ages.

In maths this week we are going to be continuing to think about 1:1 correspondence.

We will be showing a line of objects, touching them one at a time and naming them.

For example - if the objects are cars we will touch the cars one at a time whilst we say car, car, car, car.

Invitations to play next week include challenges to build a giants castle in the construction area with the bricks or outside with the crates.  We might even challenge the children to cook a giants meal in the mud kitchen!  Look out for the photos on Tapestry!

The words we will be focusing on which have been taken from the version of Jack and the Beanstalk we will be sharing with the children are -

valuable

market

exchange

angry

bellowed.
