Your spelling test will be on a Friday. Our library slot is on Monday afternoon and in this time, you will be able to change your library book. Golden Time is still on a Friday afternoon.
Our Topic - Spring Term
This term, our topic is Rise of the Machines and we are studying the Victorians.
Our Topic - Autumn Term
This term, our topic is Empires of the Ancient Worlds and we will be studying the Ancient Greeks and the Romans. This half term, we will be learning about the Ancient Greeks.
The first Olympic Games were held in Greece about 3,000 years ago. It is believed that the games began as part of a religious festival, in honour of the god Zeus. The Olympic Games still happen today - every four years! During a recent geography lesson, we located cities that have previously hosted the Olympic Games. Here are some photos of us in action:
In art, we drew our very own ancient Greek soldiers. We drew hoplites; they were foot soldiers. They fought with a long spear and used a large round shield for protection. Here are some exapmples of our work.
In numeracy, we enjoy working independently and with our peers. We very much enjoy peer marking and we can do this very well. Here are some photos of us completing work on fractions.
