We will use the story "The Little Red Hen" this week to focus our learning around helping each other.

In phonics, we will be introducing the letters g o c and k. We will also try to learn to remember a new tricky words - to.

In maths, we will be counting irregular arrangements of objects and will also try to use the language of taking away. We will base our work around the number rhyme 5 bread buns (one we have made up to match with the Little Red Hen, to the tune of "5 current buns in a baker's shop").

We we will continue baking, using the ICT equipment and enjoying all the new things in the Reception Unit.

In circle time this week, we will continue to think about our Golden Rules - this week will focus on "we are kind and helpful".
