Dojo Points

Dojo points are virtual points that are awarded to children for various good behaviours. The children each have their own Dojo character which they can personalise.

Once the children receive 250 points, they will be awarded a certificate during the weekly Celebration Assembly.

Please sign up to the Dojo app using the password that will be sent home in the first week of Autumn Term. If you have any problems signing up, please come and see me.

I regularly update it with information and photos. Please feel free to like and comment on the posts.

Your child's reading experience is much more than the reading book which comes home from school. Reading is happening all the time within school - it is taught explicitly in phonics and English lessons, and children also practise reading skills across all other subjects areas.

Parents can support this 'reading journey' through regular reading at home. Reading to, and with your child every evening for at least ten minutes can make a dramatic difference to a child's achievement and enjoyment within school.

We ask that you read or share a book with your child at least three times a week. Please complete your child's reading record. If they read three times or more at home, they will receive three dojo points.
