    Our Thoughts About Science and

    British Science Week March 2025

Ariah: “I really like science. We get to learn new things and I like doing experiments.”

BSW: “We looked at solids and liquids. We melted chocolate and then put it in the fridge (in containers). We took it out after dinner and got to eat it! The chocolate had changed from a solid to a liquid, back to a solid.”

Unamah: “I kind of like it because you get to do experiments.”

BSW: “We made a wormery! We had soil, sand and compost – we put compost at the bottom, then added sand then put soil at the top. We added worms to the soil which is their natural habitat. Soon we’ll be checking the top and side views.”

    4 Oak

Rex: “I really like it when we do experiments. They’re fun!”

BSW: “We cut out straws all different sizes and stuck them together. We then blew into them to make different sounds. It worked!”

Finn: “I’m really into science because you can learn lots of new things and meet new people and learn about scientists.”

BSW: “We had a planetarium visit! I thought it was really interesting. We learnt about planets and what’s on them. I found out that you can’t land on Jupiter because it’s made of gas. Another planet rains diamonds too!”
