Religion and Collective Worship

 

The school is not affiliated to a particular religious denomination.  The school’s  religious education follows the guidelines of the County’s Agreed Syllabus being non-denominational with collective acts of worship being broadly Christian in character and may be organised for groups of pupils at any time during the school day. 

 

The school will make arrangements for parents to exercise their statutory right to withdraw their child from all or part of Religious Education and / or Collective Worship.  Parents should inform the school what they would like their child to be withdrawn from (this can be verbally or written).  We would be happy to discuss this with you if you wish so that you can make an informed decision.
