We run a very popular breakfast clubs which are open every school day from 7.40am until the children go to their classrooms ready for the start of the school day.

Breakfast club is based in the infants hall for all children.  Please note we do not take Nursery children in the breakfast club.  Our Breakfast Club is only open to children who attend Berkeley Primary School.

Breakfast Club is run by school staff and comes under the umbrella of school policies with regards safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour, special education needs and other appropriate policies.  All of these are available to view on the school website.

Staff are on hand to prepare a variety of tasty food and drink, varying on different days. Children can choose from a selection of cereals, toast, yogurts, fruit juices and milk. We also offer beans and crumpets on some days.  Please see the menu below for more options that are available. A healthy, nutritious breakfast is a good way to start the school day and be ready for learning!

When the children have finished eating they are given activities to keep them occupied.  We have a range of stimulating games, resources and activities which are appropriate to the ages of the children.  These are often linked to current events such as Christmas or the seasons.

The children also have the chance for fun and friendship with children of different ages within the school and adults. We are committed to keeping our children safe both in and outside the school.  We aim to provide a supportive, caring and safe environment that allows children to thrive.  

The cost per session is £2.50. This will need to be paid using your Parent Pay account.  It is important that parents keep the balance topped up to pay for this. Please see the office if you need to set an account up. 

Children can attend our clubs on occasional days or on a regular basis.  We ask for 24 hours notice to ensure we have the right staffing.
