Learning about compassion and people seeking sanctuary

Year 2 have been very busy learning about compassion and people seeking sanctuary.  We have read four fantastic books and completed various activities for each of them (see photos attached).  The books and our completed work were shared with other classes who were very keen to create some artwork as well.

Year 4 made clay hearts to celebrate Refugee Week's theme of 'Compassion.'
