Our Playground Buddies apply for the role and are selected because of their attributes to help other children. They are then trained in the role and are clear on what the expectations are. The children wear their red neckerchief with pride – it helps other children know who to go to for support.
The Buddies organise and play games at playtime with children across the school. They help children join in that don’t have anything to do. They also help to solve minor problems and falling outs – great skills for the future.
