Secret Storyteller
Our First Secret Story Teller
We have already had our first Secret Storyteller in 5 Oak - one of our Year 6 children - and will have several other Secret Storyteller guests visiting the class throughout the school year.
Holly, a voracious and brilliant reader, shared the opening chapter of her favourite book 'The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane' by Kate DiCamillo. She told us that she has read this book four times now and thoroughly recommends it. Thank you, Holly!
The class would really welcome visits from parents or grandparents who would like to read to them during this special part of the day If you would like to come into school or read to the children via Google Classroom, please let me know.
