Eco Ambassadors
Our Eco Ambassadors work very hard to help us play our part in improving the environment. We are very proud to have been awarded the Eco Schools Award in September 2023.
We have written an Eco Code for the school so we are clear on our vision.
We have recently had Solar Panels fitted on the infant roof and the Eco Team watched their progress and have been monitoring how much energy we are producing from the sun.
We love litter picking and regularly go out around the locality to make our environment a bit nicer.
This year we have been collecting batteries, joining in with the ‘Big Battery hunt 2024. We have also joined in with the ‘Big Bird Watch 2024’ – we have a lot of wood pigeons around our locality. The Eco Ambassadors are also helping their class garden – we all have a space to ‘spruce up’ and plant.
