New Age Kurling (Inclusive) 13.3.24
In the first round of the Inclusive New Age Kurling competition we took two teams to John Leggott College, the first time we have entered the competition. After a slow start, Berkeley B quickly started finding their range and won 4 games on the bounce and came 3 rd in the competition meaning they were able to progress to the regional finals against schools from other counties in the region.
In the regional finals Berkeley played against schools from Hull, East Riding, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire creating a competition with 16 teams in it. In true Berkeley fashion the team were slow to start but once they got going, they were sliding some fantastic stones right into the centre of the circles. There was some fantastic sport played by all the schools involved and Berkeley came 12th in the region competition. A great time was had and a big well done to all the children involved.
