  • Exciting reading challenge for the Summer Holidays- Summer Reading Bingo!

    Your child will be coming home today with a reading bingo sheet to complete over the Summer Holidays. We hope to see lots of these completed and returned to us in September.

    In September, Nursery and Reception children will receive a sticker for a line and a certificate for a full house if the sheet is returned to us.

    Year 1- Year 6 will receive 2 dojos for a line and 10 dojos for a full house if the sheet is returned.

    A copy of the Reading Bingo sheet is in the letters section via the News & Events tab on this website.

    A big thank you to everyone who attended our Sports Presentation Evening. 

     

    This was a fantastic evening celebrating sporting achievements and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

    Well done to Class 2 Holly for winning the class stall competition. They raised the most profit from their stall and they will now enjoy a class treat from the profit raised.

    The literacy festival is a celebration of words and stories and provides children, young people and families with the opportunity to take part in some fabulous events and activities either for free or at a very low cost.

  • Summer Reading Challenge 2019

    Please see the information above regarding an exciting Summer Reading Challenge that is FREE for over the summer holidays which supports reading for pleasure and attainment.

     

    Last year only 1297 pupils participated but only 681 pupils completed it, as well as the FREE Reading Challenge there will be activities in the Libraries linked to the theme (Space Chase) and every Wednesday 9:30-11am at Riddings Library a FREE Breakfast and also on Fridays 9:30-11am at Scunthorpe Central during the 6 weeks holiday.

     

Top
