5 Beech's teacher is Mr Newsome.
This term, our PE days are Wednesday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor). Children need to wear their PE kit to school and will wear it all day. PE kit must be a white t-shirt, black shorts and suitable trainers or plimsolls. The children can also wear black joggers and their school jumper/cardigan for outdoor PE due to the weather.
Children will participate daily in group reading called 'book club'. Their book will be sent home every afternoon with a homework task. The book must be accompany the children into school everyday.
Spellings will be sent home at the end of every week for children to practise. Their test will take place the following Friday.
Our first topic this term is Vikings and Saxons.
