Our Trip
We all loved our trip to the Scunthorpe museum and then the Steelworks. At the museum, we learnt all about what may be beneath our soil, being archaeologists. We then explored the museum, looking for artefacts from from the five villages that eventually formed to make Scunthorpe. Finally we looked at lots of maps to see how the area has changed over time.
Next, we went to catch the train at the Steelworks. Some lovely people took us round the works and taught us all about the history of the site, as well as a few very interesting facts along the way.
An all round great day!
