Important Information
 

• Reading: Every child will read with an adult each day during our Book Club session. They will then need to do some further reading and possibly an activity at home ready for the next day. We also encourage every child to take home a "Reading for Pleasure" book to enjoy. The children love sitting on our Reading Corner and enjoying a good book. 

• Spellings: A spelling list will be sent home every Friday for the children to practise at home. Spellings will also be taught each week as part of our English lessons. Each spelling list will also contain a web link so they can practise their spellings using the Ztype website.

• Times Tables: The children practise their times tables each day in school. Please help your child practise at home through the use of Times Tables Rockstars or through other games.

• PE: 5 Holly will have indoor PE every Wednesday and outdoor PE every Thursday (weather permitting). All children should come to school wearing their PE kits for the day.
