Geography
Whilst we couldn't take a trip to the Amazon rainforest, we could visit in virtual reality. We had a great time exploring the layers of the rainforest and meeting some of the wildlife up close!
Music
In music, we identified how music can be used to convey meaning. Inspired by The Theme From Pink Panther, we played sound effects using untuned percussion and body percussion.
RE
To support our learning about Islam, we visited Scunthorpe Central Mosque.
Maths
We regularly use manipulatives, such as place value counters, to support our understanding of place value and addition and subtraction.
Reading
We voted on which book to read during DEAR time. The Wild Robot was the clear favourite. After reading we shared our views of the book. So many of us are now looking forward to reading the sequel independently that we have a waiting list to sign!
