School Council
We have elected representatives from every class from Year 2 to 6 that sit on the School Council. The children meet regularly with Miss Howlett and Governors.
They help the school appoint new staff members by interviewing candidates. The children are very perceptive and they know what they want from the adults.
This year they have reviewed the Child Friendly ‘Anti-Bullying Policy’ and ‘Safeguarding Policy’ and delivered a powerpoint about these to their class.
They have completed a ‘Feeling Safe’ survey with their class and have analysed the results. They have come up with further questions they want to ask and are following up on this.
Later this term they will be writing a ‘Child Friendly ‘Behaviour Policy’ and will present this to their class.
