We have two P.E. sessions each week on Tuesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor).
On our P.E. days, please ensure that your child is wearing their P.E. kit (white t-shirt, shorts, leggings, tracksuit bottoms, trainers, etc). Long hair must be tied back and if your child wears earrings, please remove these before school. Sports earrings can be worn for our P.E. lessons. No other jewellery may be worn.
Children will engage in a Book Club session daily. They will be set pages to read every evening and will be given one written task per week. It is vital that children are reading to an adult at home and children still benefit from hearing an adult read to them regularly.
Pupils are expected to regularly practice their times tables at home, we use Times Tables Rockstars to support our pupils to learn their tables. Pupils can access this at home, please get in touch if they need a reminder of their log in details.
At the beginning of each half term, pupils are given the weekly spelling lists that we are studying at school. If you need another copy of these, please get in touch.
We always enjoy when parents and carers come in to read to us during DEAR time. If you would like to volunteer, please get in touch.
This term we are learning about ancient civilisations including Ancient Egypt. We will be comparing the similarities and differences between the civilisations and looking at their significance. We also learn about the digestive system in science.
