The first layer of our printing has started well. Keep checking back to see what they look like with more layers and then sewing on top. We can't wait.
In art, the children have been looking at an artist and designer called Hannah Nunn. She is inspired by nature and the children had a lovely afternoon, sketching in her style and completing some beautiful observational drawings.
OAA (or Outdoor Adventurous Activity) lessons are always such fun. Here you can see great teamwork in action as the children guide their friends around to locate cones, using good communication. Well done, 6 Oak.
In our English lessons, we are studying the amazing book 'Street Child' by Berlie Doherty. It is such a sad but true tale of Jim Jarvis, a poor Victorian child whose life was incredibly hard. Here were are recreating one scene using Freeze Frames to show emotions. Great work, 6 Oak - future acting stars in the making.
