CBBC timetables and well-being resources

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you are all keeping well.  I know how hard this situation is for children, parents and our staff and I commend you all for what you are doing to support our children.  We are all looking forward to hearing that schools can fully re-open and try to get some sort of 'normality' for our children once again.  Please keep trying your best with the home learning, but if you need to take a break then do.  Everyone's well-being is very important.

This week is Children's Mental Health Week, we need to think about this more than ever at the moment.  A colleague shared some useful resources that I thought might be helpful to parents - a few simple resources to help children and parents.  Please have a look at them.  The sun is shining so brightly this morning - if you can, get out in it and enjoy it, boosting your Vitamin D.

I have attached the CBBC and BBC timetables for this week for your information.  I've heard from parents and children how good these are.  Tim Peake is doing the science lesson tomorrow morning at 10.05.  On Wednesday Rachel Shenton and Maisie Sly are doing an introduction to British Sign Language which sounds really interesting.  As History is my main subject, I always recommend the Horrible Histories.

Please contact us if you have any queries.  Stay safe and well and I hope to see you all soon.

Best wishes
