Children with positive Covid-19 cases between 1st- 6th April 2021

Schools have been asked to be part of the Covid-19 track and trace system after we break up for the Easter holidays on Wednesday 31st March 2021 until midnight on Tuesday 6th April 2021.

If a pupil or staff member tests positive for Covid-19, having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in school, you MUST contact the school by emailing me on whowlett.berkeleyprimary@northlincs.gov.uk.

We will then assist in identifying close contacts and advising self-isolation, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school.  I will check my email regularly each day and will contact anyone regarding a positive Covid-19 test (no other matters).  Please do not call school or email the admin address as this will not be monitored during the holiday.

After 6th April no-one will have had contact with anyone from school.  Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for Covid-19, having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.

If you have any queries regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes

Wendy Howlett

Deputy Headteacher
