Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Dear Parents,
School closing at 1.30pm on Tuesday 5th September 2017
I have only just been advised by the Local Authority that we should close school at the earlier time of 1.30pm on the first day back to school due to the Tour of Britain cycle racing event. Had I been aware of this earlier, I would of course informed you. I apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
The roads surrounding our school are being closed mid afternoon for several hours making it impossible for you to collect your children at the normal time.
Best wishes
Anna Cvijetic
Headteacher

These are running through the months September-December 2017.
North Lincolnshire are privileged to host a whole stage of the Tour of Britain professional cycle race on 5th September.
The council are very keen to encourage more people to take up cycling for both pleasure and as a means to transport.
To give families encouragement and the information needed to enjoy a safe family ride the council have joined with Good Egg Safety to put the guide to "Cycling for Families" flip book on their free digital platform. This can be accessed from a mobile phone, tablet or other devices and gives great information on buying and maintaining bikes, learning to ride, what equipment you may need, planning routes, how to stay safe and top tips on how to get the most out of cycling.
The Poster below gives details on how to access the free "Cycling for Families" guide.
The Family Information Service provides information, support and advice to families in North Lincolnshire.

Choc ice
Please note- This lunch will replace the lunch listed on the pre-printed menu, there will not be any other option on this day. Please send your child with a packed lunch if they do not wish to have the picnic lunch.
Parents and Carers,
We are really looking forward to our Summer Fayre on Wednesday 28th June 2017 from 3.20pm until 4.30pm. We really hope you will join us and enjoy the fun.
A taster of some of the plan;
-Bouncy castle - Ice creams
-Bottle tombola - Café
-Games stalls - Fill a bowl
-Raffle
The children are really excited about it and we have a competition for them- we have given each class £20, and whichever class makes the most profit from their stall, they get to keep the profit for a class treat- we are hoping to see some budding Alan Sugars!!! Classes have been paired across infants and juniors for this enterprise activity.
How can you help?
Bottle tombola- On Friday 23rd June (Monday 26th June for beginning of the week nursery) we are having a non-uniform day, instead of a monetary donation, we would ask that you send in a bottle (any kind- wine, whisky, shampoo, washing up liquid, squash, shower gel)
Raffle prizes- We have some great raffle prizes but would appreciate any other raffle prizes you or your work could donate before Tuesday 27th June
Fill a bowl- With this letter your child will bring home a paper bowl. Please fill the bowl with things such as, wrapped sweets, mini crayons, rubbers, hair clips, bobbles, stickers, mini games and cards. Of course you may have more inventive ideas, feel free to use your imagination. Please return bowls by Friday 23rd June.
Summer Fayre is one of those occasions for us all to get together as a school community. I look forward to seeing you and your children on 28th June.
Thank you for your continued support.
